Have we witnessed Peak Oil Demand?

Have we seen #PeakOil demand just prior to the #Covid-19 pandemic or will we see a bounce back to prior levels (aprox 100 million barrels/day (MMbd)) and future growth? The International Energy Agency (#IEA), the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (#OPEC) and the U.S. Energy Information Administration (#EIA) are all forecasting….. short term demand slump ranges between 12 and 23 MMbd and end of year demand reduction between 0.5 and 3.5 MMbd. Do these forecasting agencies take into account the oil and oil products that are stockpiling, the advance of #renewable_energy and #electrification and changes in behaviour as a result of pandemic isolation experiences?
